OVREL Originals
Every OVREL Original is made digitally, under OVREL art direction, using generative and digital tools. It is not photographed, not scanned from a painting, and not a reproduction of somebody else's existing work. There is no physical original: the print you receive is the object.
Every product page says which category a work belongs to, in the same words, so the answer to "is this AI?" is never something you have to work out.
Archive Edition
Archive Edition reproduces public-domain works, credited to their artist and holding institution. No Archive Edition works are on sale at the moment; every work in the shop today is an OVREL Original.
What you are buying
You are buying the physical print: a sheet of 200gsm enhanced matte art paper with pigment ink, made to order in the United States, and a frame around it if you choose one. You can hang it, move it, give it away or sell the sheet. A purchase does not include any right to reproduce the image.
How copyright applies to images made with generative tools is still being settled, so this page does not claim more than that.
What the pictures on this site are
Framed images are renders built around the real artwork file. None of them is a photograph of a customer's home, of the printing process or of packaging. When real photographs exist, they will be labelled as photographs.
