Accessibility
We want this store to be usable by everyone, including people using a screen reader, a keyboard rather than a mouse, magnification, or a browser with motion reduced.
What we aim for
We build against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. Specifically, this store is built to:
- be fully operable by keyboard, with a visible focus outline on every control and a skip link to the main content;
- meet AA contrast on body text and interface text;
- give every product image a text alternative naming the work;
- use real headings, lists, labels and landmarks rather than styled text;
- respect
prefers-reduced-motionand drop animation when it is set; - keep text resizable and reflow to a single column without horizontal scrolling.
Where we know we fall short
Being honest is more useful than claiming full conformance. Known gaps:
- The checkout is Shopify's, not ours. We do not control its markup, though Shopify maintains it to a published accessibility standard.
- Some artwork is described only by its title. A visual description of each print is work we have not finished.
- This store has not been audited by an independent accessibility tester or verified with assistive technology by a disabled user.
If something does not work
Tell us and we will fix it, and we will help you complete your order in the meantime by whatever means works - including taking the order over email. Say what page you were on, what you were trying to do, and what you were using. You will get a person, not a ticket queue.
